Sarah Kyffin - Body idols Fitness category
My old PT suggested competing but it was not something I felt able to do. After my marriage broke down my training stepped up and my current PT suggested competing as a way to stop from plateau-ing. The concentration And dedication needed to prep was the best thing I ever did for my mental health during a very sad and trying time.
I competed at Mr&miss Plymouth without placing, then Glifting girls placing 3rd in fitness and then UFL also placing 3rd in fitness.
This April I competed with PCA and did not place.
I am currently prepping for WBFF London in November.
I am passionately dedicated to celebrating and conveying the message of positive body image and improving mental health through exercise.
Competing is less about aesthetics for me and more about wanting to stretch and challenge myself as a woman who has had tough mental health issues and as an athlete who is proud of all I have accomplished.
